Life is tough and the job of mastering a computer can make it even tougher. We sure don't need viruses to add to this difficulty. But the viruses are coming; each day, we see many new strains, and each month brings the release of yet another totally new virus. But all is not gloom. The problem is not yet as severe as some have forecast. Most common viruses do little damage. Most products detect all the common viruses and remove them adequately. In addition, many low-cost tools are available to make your virus fighting easier. We may not live to see the end of viruses, but we won't live to see the end of safe computing either.
