1 Even though or although (aunque)
 
Introduces a surprising or unexpected contrast.
 
Example:
Even though he wants to lose weight, he keeps eating donuts.
 
She got the job even though she had no previous experience.
 
2. On the other hand (por otra parte)
 
Shows a contrast or a different perspective, often when comparing two things or people.
 
Example:
He's always punctual. On the other hand, his cousin is always late.
 
She loves reading. On the other hand, her brother prefers writing.
 
3. Plus (además)
 
Used in informal contexts to add positive information or a supporting argument.
 
Example:
The movie was amazing. Plus, the soundtrack was incredible.

4. In the meantime (mientras tanto)
 
Used to describe an action that happens while waiting for a main event to occur.
