The iPhone, released in 2007, revolutionized the world of mobile technology. Created by Apple Inc., it combined a phone, an iPod, and an internet communicator all in one sleek device. The original iPhone had a 3.5-inch screen, a 2-megapixel camera, and lacked the App Store, but it set the foundation for future innovations.

In the years that followed, Apple introduced significant upgrades. The iPhone 3G in 2008 added 3G connectivity and the App Store, allowing users to download apps for the first time. The iPhone 4, released in 2010, brought a higher-resolution Retina display and FaceTime, while the iPhone 5 in 2012 introduced a larger screen and the Lightning connector.

As the years passed, iPhones grew in power and features. The iPhone 6 and 7 brought larger screens, better cameras, and improved performance. With the iPhone X in 2017, Apple removed the home button and introduced Face ID, a facial recognition system.

Most recently, the iPhone 12, released in 2020, offered 5G connectivity and MagSafe, a feature that allows easy attachment of accessories. Today, the iPhone continues to evolve, pushing the boundaries of mobile technology with each new release.
