The online portal is generated under the High Court of Madhya Pradesh (Right to Information) Rules, 2006.
An applicant who desires to obtain any information under the RTI Act can make a request through this Web Portal to the High Court of Madhya Pradesh.
Every application shall be made for one particular item of information only. After filling the first page, the applicant has to click on 'Make Payment' to make payment of the prescribed fee. The applicant can pay the prescribed fee through Internet banking/credit card/debit card.
No RTI fee is required to be paid by any citizen who is below poverty line as per High Court of Madhya Pradesh (Right to Information) Rules, 2006. However, the applicant must attach a copy of the certificate issued by the appropriate government in this regard, along with the application.
Information relating to tenders Documents/bids quotation/business contract shall be charged Rs. 500/- per application. Information other than above shall be charged Rs. 50/- per application.

On submission of an application, a unique registration number would be issued, which may be referred by the applicant for any references in future.
The applicant should submit his/her mobile number and email address to receive SMS alerts and email.

If you wish to obtain desired information by Registered Post you are required to send a self addressed envelope to SPIO (State Public Information Officer) of High Court of Madhya Pradesh, with Dak Tickets (Postal Stamps) of appropriate amount and intimate us. The Act also requires every public authority to computerize their records for wide dissemination and to proactively publish certain categories of information so that the citizens need minimum recourse to request information formally. The RTI Bill was passed by Parliament of India on 15 June 2005 and came into force with effect from 12 October 2005. Every day on average, over 4800 RTI applications are filed.
