Let's go back to the beginning. About the day we left us behind, and what's left was just a memory. That's haunting the corners of my mind.
I wasn't sure what we were thinking. Maybe it's my delusions to blame, or the love stories I'd been reading, or the poem you wrote using my name.
Is it such a sin, sending you a letter? I wanted to know if you're doing better. Maybe I'm just a dust in your new chapter. At this point, it shouldn't matter. Wish I could bring the weather back to December.
I used to think we could write stories about how we would go separate ways, and reunite on a random Saturday. Then, we'd love again in our twenties.
But it was over as soon as it started. It hurts too much to admit. That somewhere along the line. I just knew you were no longer mine.
