A child who was once lively, talkative, and cheerful grows up to become quiet, shy, and withdrawn. After a long time without seeing that child, many people think they've changed a lot. Perhaps they've matured, or maybe they’ve become arrogant. They think the child is now introverted, eccentric, and somewhat aloof or snobbish. But the truth isn't like that at all. It's simply that they encountered wounds while growing up. The child no longer expresses much emotion or their true thoughts because they fear being judged or criticized. It's understandable, as it's a way to protect oneself from getting hurt, but not everyone can see that, and even those who do might not empathize because they haven't experienced that pain themselves. If you see yourself in this story, I just want to hug you and tell you: “Don’t worry too much about what they say or think; just be as carefree and joyful as you once were”.
