As you already know that India is an agricultural country and most of the Jitesh in India is done through the water of the river. Many countries have more rivers. More crops are grown there. Due to the abundance of crops, there is very little famine there. Being a river makes it easy to irrigate. You must have noticed that often the areas or places along the banks of the river are healthy. Apart from this, the country which has less number of rivers. The risk of malaria and famine in that country increases. Rivers strengthen our trade and commerce. Today big ports have developed on the banks of rivers. Talking about the past, earlier there was no railway road for doing business, then more and more trade was done through water only, then merchants took their goods from one place to another with the help of boat to do business. Used to go Even today in India, a lot of trade is done through the water route. Even today boats and steamers transport cotton, jute and other food items. Rivers help us in many ways. The Government of India has established several power stations in the area of the river project. Electricity is generated at affordable prices by using the water of these rivers. On seeing the river, our mind gets immense peace. The water of the rivers remains calm in summer, winter and spring. Many people go for a walk on the banks of the rivers in these seasons. Apart from this, many people also take advantage of river travel by boat or steamer. If we talk about the largest and longest river of India, then it is the Ganges River. This river originates from the Himalayas. It comes through holy mountains and through the city of Shiva i.e. Haridwar. Apart from this, this holy river flows through big cities like Delhi and Agra. Later, it again joins the Ganges.
