Although I may not sound very professional on my ideas of this outbreak, and I'm only a kid, so some of my ideas and thoughts could sound dumb to some of you, I'd like to explain how I think of this situation. (I'm only 11 so pls don't judge)

COVID-19, a difficult time for all of us, the outbreak that changed a lot of lives. I'm from America, and things are kind of rough over here. People have changed from this, including me. While some people are dying, there are people going out and partying, not really caring for what is happening to people that are suffering. Most of the kids in my school don't care about this situation, and I've complained and whined. But I think a lot of people have changed from this situation because I have. Social Media is exploding with topics and debates. Small businesses are closing down, people are quarantining. Social Distancing is required, masks are required. Look at how much our life has changed. A lot of people are doing this to protect themselves, the topic is protecting other people, not just yourself. Your mask protects me, my mask protects you. And yet people are going out, not worrying about the lives of other people. There is also the other type of people who say they were negative, so they continue to go out. A week later someone dies, do you even think that you were the cause of their death? They did their part, they social distanced, they wore a mask, but you, you didn't even think about that? Even if your tested negative, and you are safe, what about the other people suffering? A lot of people don't think about this, and I don't even sometimes. I never said I was perfect, but I'm trying to spread this out to people who did the same as me.
Think about the other person, not just you.
