Harmonia is the goddess of harmony and concord. Harmonia was a former Queen of Thebes. Harmonia’s family, husband, and cursed necklace and robe is what makes her an interesting goddess.
 
    Harmonia’s family is an engaging part of her life. Harmonia’s parents are Ares and Aphrodite. Harmonia was born from Ares affair with Aphrodite. Harmonia’s husband Cadmus, founder and King of Thebes. Harmonia and Cadmus had children named Ino, Semele, Agave, Autonoe, Polydorus, and Illyrians. Illyrius is the youngest out of all of them. Harmonia’s brothers are Deimos and Phobos. Also, her half brother Cupid.
 
    The story of Harmonia and her husband are engaging. Cadmus built a new city in Boeotia called Cabreia which is now called Thebes. Harmonia joined Cadmus to Enchelii. Cadmus later became king of the Illyrians but was turned into a serpent. Ares had become furious because Madus had done something wrong by killing a serpent entitled to Ares. Harmonia was also turned into a serpent for welcoming Madus when he was a serpent.
 
    Harmonia’s cursed necklace and the robe are interesting. The necklace and robe were a gift for celebrating Madus and Harmonia’s marriage. Hephaestus has delivered the necklace and robe because he was still enraged about Aphrodite’s betrayal and deception. The necklace brought a curse to whoever possessed it. The necklace was passed down from generation to generation.
 
    In conclusion, Harmonia is a very engaging goddess. what makes Harmonia so interesting is her cursed necklace and robe, husband, and family. Harmonia might have a unique past but she is still is a very kind person.
