When an object speeds up, its acceleration is in the direction of its motion
When an object slows down, its acceleration is opposite the direction of its motion (think about projectiles)
The location of the object can’t be determined from a velocity-time graph only how far the object ended up from its starting position can be determined because we never really know where it started from since displacement is simply a change in position
When an object is in free-fall, only the force of gravity is acting on the object and it accelerates at -9.8 m/sec/sec in the vertical direction
Remember that for projectiles x and y are independent of each other
A projectile has no horizontal acceleration so it moves at a constant speed in the horizontal
Average Speed = Total Distance / Time
A projectile achieves maximum range at an angle of 45
The speed or magnitude of the velocity vector is independent of the launch angle
When two objects are dropped at different times their distance of separation will increase because one will always be traveling faster
When two objects are dropped at different times, the difference of their velocities will remain constant
At maximum heights of projectiles or free-fall, Vf =  m/sec
