Mobile Test

Post by wat » Fri Dec 11, 2015 1:49 pm

I just tried taking the mobile typing test to see how fast I type on my tiny iPhone 6. I noticed a few things:

1. I can't see the leader board until just after finishing a test
2. I'm the only one I see on that leader board despite it saying there are 34 in the last 24 hours
3. I lagged pretty badly while taking the test; I don't know if it's my phone's fault or the browser or the website
4. Related to 3, I'm wondering if the score is even accurate; I have to pause sometimes to load new lines, and the timer seems to also pause occasionally

I know the mobile version of the site is probably not a priority, but I thought I'd share my experience. :)

Also, I knew about this website since a friend showed me it to be me ~5 years ago, but now I'm back! I've noticed my typing speed going down over the years, so I'd like to get it back up to speed again.

It would probably be better to take your tests on a regular computer.

Just take the test on a computer or laptop. It makes no sense taking the test on a phone
